The housemates hard work this week were not all for naught! The culminating activity for their weekly task, Housemates for Inmates Concert for a Cause was a blast with their sexy dance and cool song numbers. The night kicked-off with their sizzling "Buttons" number and the audience went wild with the boys and girls’ hot moves on the dance floor. Mariel, back to her hosting duties for tonight, then introduced Kuya’s newest love team in the house Will and Riza. The two did a repeat performance of their most requested duet "Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang."

Mcoy soon followed with an acoustic song number with the assistance of Ruben, who took charge of the kahon. The other housemates joined them afterwards for Mcoy’s special composition for Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 that showcased each and every housemates’ outstanding trait. Ruben’s Budots dance closed the show with him, Jon and Victor rapping with their own lyrics to the "Papi Chulo", much to the audience’s delight.

With the results of their task still pending, with Toni quoting Big Brother’s "takdang panahon" line, the celebs have to prepare for the next agenda of the evening – Gaby’s departure from Kuya’s house. The Racing Goddess’ impending exit was revealed when she accomplished her ‘legacy’ for this edition, filling a drum with water from the pool using various materials in exchange for a 24/7 water supply for the remaining HMs. But Kuya also gave Mariel, Riza, Donnie, Will and Ruben a chance to give her a going away gift. With their skating challenge, they were able to present Gaby a Sparco race car seat, a special symbol of their friendship. Gaby’s eyes instantly filled with tears as she accepted her gift from her friends.

The time to say good-bye approached and Gaby gave her farewell messages to each. She told Yayo how much she has been an inspiration to her. And to Mcoy, who was already a good friend of hers before they entered the house, she thanked him for being there with her to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity. Gaby was then ushered out of the house and received warm hugs and kisses from her mom and niece as soon as she stepped on stage at the PBB Eviction Hall. Gaby knows that PBB has changed her life forever. "Grabe yung friendship, it was a life changing experience. Don’t take anything foregranted."

Celebrity Concert For A Cause

With only a few hours left before the grand presentation, our celebrity housemates are on high energy as they ensure that all their production numbers are as perfect as possible. Tonight's Celebrity Concert For A Cause will be the culmination of their week-long plannings and rehersals, and the 150 privileged live viewers will judge if the celebrity housemates will pass this weekly task. On the other hand, our housemates are determined to reclaim the 100% bet that they lost last week.

Given her credentials as one of the hosts of Pinoy Big Brother and Wowowee, Mariel will serve as the host of the concert. This will be Mariel's chance to get back to what she loves doing right before being trapped as the surprise celebrity houseguest of this season. Meanwhile, Mcoy also get to share his expertise to this special weekly task. The ex-band vocalist composed a touching friendship theme. This song will be in honor of all the weekly tasks, afternoon games, rewards, punishments, and drama that our celebrity housemates have experienced in the past four weeks inside the famous yellow house. Also, watch out for the "quotable quotes" of our housemates to appear in this song.

Two dance numbers that both started as tasks will make an improved comeback tonight. Our housemates will once again do the hip Budotz dance as popularized by Ruben. This time around, Ruben, Jon, and Victor will get to sing their own version of the Pappy Chulo song. Meanwhile, the Cheap Ahoys striptease choreo will also be included in the sexy song and dance number of the girls to the tune of Buttons by Pussy Cat Dolls. Prepare to see the girls, especially Yayo and Gaby, take a strut to the "wild side."

Of course, Kuyanatics could expect the most talked about pair of this season in a sweet duet of Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang. Will and Riza will again sing this endearing OPM ballad set to excite all the hopeless romantics. All in all, privileged viewers can commemmorate this special event with a free limited edition PBB shirts signed by our celebrity housemates and a photo opportunity with the Racing Goddess Gaby Dela Merced. Jon Gets A Visit From His Mom!

Among all the housemates, it was only Jon who was not able to receive a gift from a loved one when Ms. Kris Aquino visited them last Monday. This naturally filled everyone with curiosity since it’s so unlike Big Brother to make any of housemate feel left out.

Seeing that nothing was forthcoming, the English Outcast asked around if they think he had done something wrong, hence this sort of punishment from Kuya. It was Mariel who sweetly assured him not to worry about it since he is the “best housemate” after all. Still, Jon took the matter to Big Brother two days ago. This time, he was reassured of the same thing. Of course, he has something for all his residents. It’s just that his present for him is yet to come, Kuya explained.

And that time has finally arrived tonight! He was given a 100-second encounter with his mom to help him cope with the recent death of his Nanang Tacing. In the midst of the boys’ chore to dump the water from the kiddie pool to the surrounding plants outside, Jon was suddenly called in the confession room for this wonderful surprise.

But before that, PBB Host Ms. Toni Gonzaga had a brief talk with Mrs. Tess Mullaly first. As a son, she affirmed that Jonathan is really quiet by nature, giving the impression that he is a snob. However, he begins to warm up to people given enough time, she added. When asked about her opinion regarding the blossoming closeness between Jon and Mariel, it seemed that she really approved of their friendship.

Then with Big Brother’s signal, Mrs. Mullaly immediately went to see her son, showering him with kisses on the spot. Tears ran down his face as he mentioned his deceased aunt. It goes without saying that the presence of family mutually eased the pain of their loss and difficulties at the moment. On a lighter note, the two exchanged compliments before the special visit ended.

Nothing beats a heartwarming relationship between a mother and child isn’t it? But in the meantime, the celebrity housemates are busy polishing their grooves for tomorrow! Don’t dare miss their showdown dubbed as “Housemates Para Sa Inmates” inside the big yellow house! Will the guests get their money’s worth with their live presentation? Can’t hardly wait to see them break a leg!

Wet and wild Sponge Pass!

Team A (Ethel, Ruben, Megan, Gaby, Will, and Baron) faced Team B (Riza, Jon, Yayo, Donnie, Mcoy, and Victor) in Kuya's dripping wet game today. With Mariel as the game official and commentator, each team must use a giant man-shape blue sponge in getting water from the pool. They then must fill up a kiddie pool by squeezing the contents of the sponge. The team who fills up their pools will win sponge baths from the group that loses.

Donnie and Baron took charge of soaking the giant sponges in the pool for their team. Jon and Will, with their large built, squeezed the soaked sponge in their respective kiddie pools. The rest of the members helped one another in carrying the heavy and soaked giant sponge from the house pool to the kiddie pool.

After a long round, Big Brother called the game off to see which kiddie pool had the most water. Unfortunately, both kiddie pools were filled with muddy water after the sponges were dragged to the wet ground. Kuya then announced that Team A had the most water, hence, they win the game.

Unexpected Turns

Rooted on day 24 are several missions that marked an emotional journey for several of the celebrity housemates. First off was Gaby who was tasked to do a final sacrifice before she finally leave the big yellow house for good. Water is scarce in their abode and a luxurious supply of which will only be provided after she succeeds in filling a large drum with water from the pool! Determined to do this one last thing for the group, she tried various strategies just to accomplish Big Brother’s challenge.

Meanwhile, the master of the house confided to Mariel, Riza, Donni, Will and Ruben regarding the impending departure of the Racing Godess from his abode. He pointed that she wanted out to pursue a great opportunity abroad to improve her racing skills. Upon hearing this however, Mariel started to cry, explaining that she really wanted Gaby to stay. But since that is not possible, she simply agreed to Kuya’s plan to give her a special farewell party if they finish a 24-hour task playing as checkered skaters (see related article for more details).

In their roller blades, they roamed around the living room showing off their clever attire. Of course, Gaby couldn’t help noticing that she is somehow involved in the whole thing. But one of the conditions of Kuya was to refrain from telling her about the surprise. Much later, Kuya noticed how his skaters have mastered the craft. Thus, he asked them to perform a special number which they presented in front of the others.

Ethel on the other hand went to the confession room to talk about how she’s feeling the symptoms of pregnancy lately. Her request for a pregnancy test kit was duly provided and she was hoping so much that the result would be positive. Aside from this issue, she was also given a chance to redeem the whole letter of Vice Ganda by creating a beautiful floral arrangement, which was obviously meant for a deceased person.

As soon as she was finished with it, Big Brother finally allowed her to read her bestfriend’s correspondence to her. After a tearful moment, she soon learned about the connection of her special task to the death of Jon Avila’s close aunt. By doing the flowers, she paved the way for the English Outcast to personally pay his last respects to his Tita Tancing in Ildefonso, Bulacan early this morning.
