Overcoming FIghts...

December 05, 2007 12:07 AM

PBBCE2_unfair1204.jpgFor the past three days, the celebrity housemates learned the value of respect towards one another amidst the pressures inside the famous yellow house. First up was the wheelchair basketball match where they won against the Philippine National Team of The Disabled last Sunday. The latter removed all doubt in our minds that they gave way for the sake of the opponents’ budget this week. Another issue was raised though pertaining to the fact that Gaby was able to join the line-up during the last 2 minutes of the rematch. Her gender has always been a problem in the world of competitive sports and she hoped that equality would prevail next time.

Meanwhile, yesterday’s HOH game caused a clash between Baron and Jon. To win the crown, they simply have to survive the seven mini-tasks that were bestowed upon them while theyPBBCE2_poolfight1204.jpg road a boat in the pool. The misunderstanding occurred during the fifth round. The English Outcast thought that Baron clued his brother in regarding the least disgusting drink for him to choose. It annoyed Jon who was determined to become an HOH before he becomes evicted at the end of the week. But as soon as he realized his mistake, she quickly apologized to the Wild Child who was totally pissed with his reactions.

As it happens, Donnie and Jon were the last men standing. But even though Jon had the advantage during the seventh mini-task, Big Brother left the final decision in the hands of the housemates. They have to choose between the two who’s the most deserving housemate for the HOH position. The votes were secretly made in the confession room and the highest tallybelonged to Jon since he hasn’t experienced it yet. When Big Brother announced the result, Jon showed how sorry he was to Baron by asking him to be his partner during his privileged week! PBBCE2_mediator1204.jpgThe Wild Child was ecstatic about it, insisting that it was a selfless move on Jon’s part because they were able to fix their rift already before the good news was made.

It was certainly a relief that both men were able to patch things up before the situation gre more complicated. Good thing Jon was humble enough to admit his blunder and calm enough in handling the whole ordeal. But a third fight took place not long after this. But this time, it was between Gladys and Will! Why did the Reyna ng Patawa feel disrespected? Did the True Lover make a bad call? Or was it another misunderstanding? Don’t miss PBB Uber for a sneak peek and Pinoy Pig Brother Primetime to unravel the truth on this one!

Wasabi Team Scores Another Point!

December 04, 2007 8:54 PM

PBBCE2_ruben1204.jpgThere's no time for power naps tonight as Big Brother kept the housemates busy with another game right after their kickboxing competition. This time however, brawns are not the key to success but a keen strategy in playing a local form of recreation known as 'sungka'. But first, they were given enough time to learn its ropes using the traditional equipment needed. Gaby and Ruben practiced inside the boys' bedroom during a lock down, and then on Big Brother's signal they went out in the garden for the official match.

What they found perked things up because the set-up included a giant sungka board with 98 crablets instead of shells! Just like the rules of the game, two players will take turns in distributing the crablets into the two sets of seven holes. Ultimately, the goal is to capture more crablets than one's opponent. Big Brother also reminded not to take too long in sowing the crablets to plan where the last of it would land since this is equal to cheating.

As a continuation of their 'Karakter task', the Komedyanteng Promdi represented the Lee Family while the Racing Godess fought for the Wasabi Team. Just when everybody thought Ruben would get the upper hand because he defeated Gaby several times before, the latter managed to hoard a total of 60 crablets while the former onlyPBBCE2_gaby1204.jpg acquired 38 of which. Upon hearing the scores, Big Brother was quite surprised since the total number of crablets should have been 98 and not 99. All the same, the huge gap of the scores still landed the anime treasure on Gaby’s hands, leaving her team with a two-point advantage!

Will the Lee Family redeem themselves next time? They better do so or else they’d be risking a hefty reward! Brace yourselves for more of the opposing groups thrilling battles on PBB Uber and on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 primetime episodes for juicier stories about the celebrity housemates’ intriguing lives inside the big yellow house.

Jon wins a power egg...

PinoyBigBrotherDonnie owned the first two rounds, but in the third round, he lost grip on the pole and fell in the pool. From then on Jon took over the game and he eventually took home the eggs. In the next few days, Kuya will hold more games where the two teams can win more power eggs. The more eggs a team gets their hands on, the closer they are to winning the task. Big Brother added another 'rule' to acquiring power eggs and that is by stealing the rival tePinoyBigBrotherams' stash! Say Goodbye to Peggy...

December 04, 2007 3:36 PM

08-1204peggy2.jpgFor the despedida celebration, all the celebrity housemates once again wore the piggy headgears they wore during the "biik shower." Gladys was also tasked to make a poem in honor of Peggy, and the Patawa Queen later taught the poem to the other housemates. Then, Kuya announced that the time has come for Peggy's departure. The housemates gathered around the pen and recited the poem all together. Afterwards, they each gave their own final words to their beloved housepig. Ruben wished Peggy the best in her new home, while Jon once again pulled a comic relief when he asked Peggy to stay sexy. Being a new friend to the pig, Gladys thanked Peggy for being a part of her life even for just a short time. Gladys promised that from now now, she will stay away from eating pork meat. Gaby and Yayo, on the other hand, failed to hold their tears upon knowing that they will not be able to see Peggy again. Gaby and Yayo both promised Peggy that they will take care of Porkchop, Biboy, and 08-1204peggy3.jpgthe other piglets.

As a final act of kindness, Ruben cleaned up Peggy's place and bathed her. Then, their signature farewell theme "If Ever I See You Again" was played, completing the sad mood inside the house. However, Big Brother promised the housemates that after the season, they will all have the chance to visit Peggy in her new home. But from now on, they can only focus their attention and efforts to the growing piglets. Be sure to catch Uber this afternoon at 5:30 for a sneak peek on Peggy's exit. Also, find out who between Donnie and Jon will be this week's new Head of Household.
