Angel of Love's 24-Hour Task

PBBCE2_rubenngel1126.jpgAfter several depressing days, a beautiful angel arrived in style last night, who certainly took the celebrity housemates by surprise. Angel Locsin was in full battle mode when she landed in their midst as a menacing sniper. One by one she tried to beat the guys with her paint-ball gun until she finally revealed her identity to them. Ironically, it was Ruben who caught her first as the others helped her out of her gear. When the housemates’ initial shock soon waned and Angel was adjusting herself to her new home, Big Brother called her for his crucial instructions.

Her mission was to become an Angel of Love whose task was to persuade the Komedyanteng Promdi to propose to his live-in partner of three years on national television. At first, Angel was hesitant to do as she was told since she’s practically new in the group and Ruben may feel offended by her inquiries. But since Big Brother asked her so nicely, she eventually agreed.

Luckily, she easily found an opportunity to have a heart-to-heart talk with Ruben. After hearing his love story, shePBBCE2_oneonone1126.jpg cleverly pointed out that if she’s in Jesell’s place, she’d be expecting a marriage proposal from him by now. She insisted that it would be perfectly romantic if he does it on TV! Desperate by that time, she further sweet-talked him into following her advice. Ruben could only laughingly agree to her odd pleas, unsuspecting towards her connivance with Big Brother.

But this was not her only contribution throughout her 24-hour stint as Kuya’s houseguest. Angel accompanied the housemates in another exciting adventure this afternoon, obsessively kept the kitchen spic and span and accepted all sorts of challenges even those beyond her call of duty. All these soon ended though as she bade them goodbye on the show’s live stretch tonight. As expected, not only the housemates but even the whole world felt sad to see her step out of the big yellow house.

Big Brother thanked her for being a part of his famous abode even for such a short while. As it is, she had shared much of her admirable qualities, which he truly appreciated. Soon after that, PBB Host Toni Gonzaga welcomed PBBCE2_bbtnx1126.jpgAngel back to the outside world, teasingly noting that she had made it in one piece. Seriously however, the pretty young actress recounted how unforgettable her experience would be, seeing now the vast difference between simply watching them on TV and mingling with them in real life.

Toast to Friendship

PBBCE2_dinner1126.jpgAfter a day’s work, what better way to spend the night ahead than a happy reunion with a beloved housemate with matching home-made sinigang for dinner? They couldn’t contain their stories to tell as everyone catches up with Gaby, who’s equally excited to fill them in on all her adventures abroad and the whirlwind events that await her as soon as she touched ground here in the country.

But more than this, a very special gathering was prepared just for them! In the midst of their chatter, Big Brother suddenly detained them in their respective bedrooms where Mariel continued her animated review of all the games they’ve had including Jon’s mishap with his balls. BB’s spy was at her best element now that there are more people in the house, not to mention her favorite buddy Gaby.

What made the housemates all-keyed up however was when Big Brother told them to dress up as soon as possible for a fine-dining experience! Of course this leaves everyone surprised since there’s no obvious cause forPBBCE2_angelwill1126.jpg celebration. As it is, their elegant dinner table was set for the occasion with waiters to serve them their meals. Mariel mused that she has a ‘praning theory’ for this treat but she’d better wait for Kuya to explain himself.

To Angel and Mariel, the housemates teased that maybe this is his way of saying that they are his newest residents! The sexy tough chic could only hope that it’s not the case. But whatever it is, they simply decided to enjoy the sumptuous food as long as it lasted. All their speculations, fueled by what they can remember from the Pinoy Big Balita, took a backseat for now. But how will they feel once their predictions turn into reality? Stay tuned to more of Big Brothers’ guests and surprises this week!

Welcome Back Gaby!

PinoyBigBrother"I got kidnapped!" Gaby first told the two housemates as they got in the house. Gaby returned from her seminar in the US just this afternoon and the PBB staff surprised Gaby right at the airport and offered her a chance to return to the Big Brother house and continue being a celebrity housemate. Being used to stepping up to any challenge, the renowned car racer agreed to come back. From there, she was immediately driven straight to the PBB house.

PinoyBigBrotherGaby is indeed overwhelmed with joy and she instantly began catching up with Baron and Yayo. Baron told Gaby that all the housemates were currently out, and from there, the Racing Goddess was updated about everything that has happened in Kuya's house while she was gone, from Ethel and Mcoy's exit to Angel Locsin's arrival.

Speaking of Angel, she and the other housemates just arrived home after a long day of hard work "somewhere". What was this trip all about? Be sure to catch Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 tonight to see the full story on Angel's action-filled entrance with a paintball gun. Also, how will the other housemates react once they see Gaby, and how will the Racing Goddess relate to an equally pretty, sexy, and tough chick like Angel?

Kuya welcomes Angel Locsin

November 26, 2007 4:35 PM

Angel received a warm welcome from the celebrity housemates last night. Trying to adjust to the new environment, Angel found herself being rattled everytime she would hear Big Brother's deep voice. Mommy Yayo offered the new houseguest some food from the fridge which fortunately is full because of their successful weekly task. Apparently, Yayo and Angel have already worked together in a show in the other network. But before fully getting the hang of being a houseguest, Angel decided to take a shower first. Mariel escorted her to the special shower room where Angel took her warm bath. Then later, Donnie and Ruben chatted with the new beauty of the house and the Komedyanteng Promdi immediately won Angel with his antics. Ruben ended up talking about his family, and Angel expressed his admiration over Ruben's sacrifice, being away from his wife and kids. Ruben further impressed the young lady with the special camote cue he prepared. But of course, the welcome would not be complete without Angel joining the housemates in their Rico Mambo dance.

The pretty houseguest later on had a good night sleep, feeling very at home with the accommodating celebrity housemates. However, no hanky panky for Angel for Kuya wants her to begin her task as soon as possible. Angel and the other housemates then got into their camouflage outfits and went straight to the activity area. What does Big Brother really want Angel to do during her stay inside the house? Be sure to keep it here for more fun with Angel and the housemates. Also, catch Uber this afternoon at 5:30 PM for a peek at Angel's entrance last night.

5th Nomination Night...

November 25, 2007 11:57 PM

More changes are set to happen inside the big yellow house this week! Aside from tonight’s new set of nominees, the housemates will be seeing a new houseguest, former housemates and also new ones.

First housemate on the line for the 5th nomination night is Baron, who just recently was instated back inside the house by the public after a trial by Big Brother. Now that he has gained separate HM status from his brother Donnie, he’s placed again in the danger zone for the others felt he has already learned a lot from his stay in Big Brother’s abode. He also got on some of the housemates’ nerves for being a bit too clumsy. Do the housemates think one Geisler inside the house is enough?
Riza was next and the Desirable Diva could not hide the disappointment in her face. The other celebs feel that she’s too vain and that she already has a career outside waiting for her. For Riza, who’s living alone in Manila, the house has become her home in the country. Will she be leaving her new found family so soon?
Victor, on the other hand, was placed on the nomination block by current head of household Will Devaughn. Because of last week’s mock nomination, Will still had the power to automatically nominate a housemate. He chose Victor because he felt that his fellow model really wanted to leave the house.
To vote for the housemate who you think deserves to stay, just text BB 3 for Riza, BB 5 for Victor, BB 7 for Baron and send it to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun Cellular and Bayan Wireless subscribers and 231 for Smart and Talk N Text subscribers. You can also use PBB vote cards or vote online here.
The excitement of the night does not end there however for Kuya has just introduced a new houseguest, thinking his housemates are feeling a bit lonely. Actress Angel Locsin awed the HMs upon her entrance. She is currently being oriented by Mommy Yayo, Donnie and Ruben about their daily routines. Angel is already feeling at home for she has just attacked with soap and water some plates and glasses in the kitchen sink. She shares that in her own home, she can’t resist washing anything left in the sink. Will she fill the void Ethel and Mcoy left with their sudden exit?

More changes are set to happen inside the big yellow house this week! Aside from tonight’s new set of nominees and celebrity house guest, the housemates will be seeing former housemates and also new ones. It’s another roller coaster week on PBB so don’t miss these events on Uber at 5:30pm and PBB Primetime, weeknights after Lastikman.

Not home for Christmas...

November 25, 2007 2:16 PM

Spending the entire holiday season without their loved ones proved to be terrible news for the celebrity housemates. The unexpectedness of which coupled by the plans they have surely made for Christmas certainly hit them hard. After all, most people really look forward to the Yuletide season. As such, staying this long may be the biggest challenge that they are going to face, even with the enormous incentives at the end of their journey.
In truth, Yayo claimed that she half-expected this already ever since their newscasting stint for the Pinoy Big Balita. Though of course, its impact last night was distressing all the same. Up to this morning, Victor still feels downcast about it. Perhaps he was thinking of his intention beforehand to attend the misa de gallo for the first time, among other things. Seeing how he is at the moment, Mariel asks him what she can do to cheer him up, only to be distracted by Baron’s funny plea to lighten his mood instead.

It seems that the Wild Child is the least worried of them all as he goes on teasing Will regarding his chosen candidate for nomination today. As usual, Big Brother is doing the rounds and Baron insists that the True Lover nominated him this time. Will merely laughs it off, knowing too well that talking about such things is prohibited. However, the Pasaway Actor quips that he can just wait for this edition’s DVD copy anyway to see if Will had put him at risk.
As Donnie says, the whole nomination process is truly difficult no matter how many times they have done it in the past. He can only hope that this week wouldn’t be as emotionally-draining as the previous days have been. With the HOH power still in the hands of the True Lover though, who among his housemates will be unlucky enough to receive an automatic nomination? More importantly, will some of them opt to quit because of the shocking extension of their seclusion in the most famous abode in the land? Don’t miss another heart-stopping nomination night on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition later after That's My Doc!

All of these prizes could be yours if ...

November 24, 2007 10:27 PM

It’s an unusual Saturday night for instead of an eviction, it became a short film premiere and challenge night for the HMS. Although they triumphed their recent weekly task minus Mcoy and Ethel, Kuya invited director Maryo J. Delos Reyes to critique "Pamana". Direk Maryo judged the short film based on its structure and content. He had a lot of questions regarding the story for some of the main character’s intentions weren’t clear with him. He praised Donnie, Yayo and Jon for their impressive acting and all in all gave their project a rating of 2.75.
After the TV debut of "Pamana" Mariel was called into the confession room. The Celebrity Houseguest was anticipating her exit and was on the verge of tears while Kuya thanked her for going ‘above and beyond’ her duty as a PBB host. However, Mariel was astounded when the big man of the house suddenly revoked her exit tonight and said that the other HMs crucially need her during these trying times. Torn between being happy and sad, Mariel returned to the other housemates where she will receive another shocker.

Kuya’s special guests of the night, The ASF Dancers, made their way into the living area and displayed to the HMs boxes with cash amounts on them, similar to the ones they use on Wowowee. Mariel had to smile, seeing her colleagues on the noontime show again after a month. Big Brother then announced that he’s doubling the prizes the Big Four will be receiving. The 4th Big Placer will now get P400,000, the 3rd Big Placer P600,000 and the 2nd Big Placer P1.000,000. The Big Winner will now receive a Sony Bravia, a Goodah business franchise package, a condominium unit at Chateau Valenzuela and a whooping P2,000,000!

The housemates could not believe their ears but what took them aback the most was Kuya’s second announcement. The prizes will belong to the housemate who had the guts to stay until January 5, 2008, the date of PBBCE2’s Big Night. He also told them that he has opened the doors of the house and anyone who wants to leave can do so that very moment Everyone was dumbfounded, realizing that Christmas and New Year will be spent inside the house without their families and loved ones. But the housemates are actually tougher than what Kuya thinks, for they all agreed to stay.

The doors of the house are closed once again. And the housemates including Mariel are resigned to their fate. Will they survive the Holidays inside the big yellow house? Find out their reasons for staying on PBB Primetime after That’s My Doc.
