Meet Chuchay's new friend!

December 01, 2007 12:34 AM

PBBCE2_chuchay1130.jpgThe Reyna ng Patawa didn’t waste time making her presence felt in the big yellow house. Armed with her loads of hilarious hirits as Chuchay, she easily endeared her way to the housemates’ hearts. Her feeling of being out of place would soon diminish with the way things are going now. Even Mariel, whom she’s awkward with, was obviously amused by her funny antics, which proves that there’s no reason for her to be shy around them.

Her friendly chemistry with Ruben however certainly reminds us how it was between him and the latter’s partner in laughter Ethel Booba. Seeing how the two hit it off from the very beginning, Big Brother dressed the comicalPBBCE2_balls1130.jpg duo in kiddie colorful costumes after their Velcro war game this afternoon. It was also a result of Gladys’ characterization of Chuchay – a role she had created way back during her gigs as a stand-up comedienne.

It was a nice gimmick really, except that there were miscalculations on the jumpers’ sizes. Gladys’ voluptuous upper body made it impossible for her to tie the straps to her back. As such, Mariel helped her knot them on her neck instead. On the other hand, Ruben’s was extra tight, making him uncomfortable with himself. Yayo even had to ask him why he had to cover his lap with a cushion. Apparently, his 'balls' kept going to the left side, hence, Big Brother’s teasing music of Beyonce’s Irreplaceable.

Gladys really had a big laugh towards her kid-friend’s discomfiture while she strictly taught him the proper inflection of a little boy’s voice. As it was, she was asking his help to convey Big Brother’s message about playing some games for fun. Later, she finally announced that they have to PBBCE2_puzzle1130.jpgcomplete a jigsaw puzzle featuring a picturesque lake scene. Finishing it though was quite uneventful for everyone, especially after a tiring day. But within three hours, the puzzle was done. Then they carefully placed it on a chopping board for Big Brother's inspection.

Will this entail another surprise treat from Kuya just like their ultimate experience with Akon? Let’s wait and see. But more important now is their reaction once they learn that their beloved houseguest is leaving them few hours from now! How will Jon fare without Mariel? And how will Mariel face her confusing feelings about him when she’s finally back in the outside world? Don’t miss another chair-gripping eviction night on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2’s Saturday special!

Kuya declares Velcro War in Uber

November 30, 2007 6:28 PM

PinoyBigBrotherIn line with yesterday's Makati standoff, Big Brother decided to make his own war inside the famous yellow house. This afternoon in Uber, the boys and the girls fought in the fun game of Velcro war. All the players wore their velcro vests, and the opposing teams must hit each other with velcro balls. Once a player is hit, he or she will be the other team's prisoner. The two teams must also penetrate the base of the other to steal the team flag. The team who steals the flag of the opponent will win.

Each team has a protector armed with an ABS-CBN shield. The PinoyBigBrotherprotector must only cover his of her team and not throw any velcro ball. In the first round, numerous velcro balls came flying across the living room. Mariel and Ruben, however, became prisoners after being hit. The pretty houseguest was hit in the face, while Gaby suffered a cut in her hand. Too bad for these girls, the boys owned the first round.

Then in the second round, Kuya ordered that once a player is hit, the ball throwing must stop as the team reclaims their prisoner. Only by then can the game resume. But it seems that the boys were masters of the game as once again, they were able to grab PinoyBigBrotherthe girls' flag. As consequence of their defeat, the girls were ordered to form a firing squad as the boys threw balls at them. The girls must also wear the velcro vests until the time Kuya tells them to take them off.

This afternoon, we also saw why Riza and Victor left Kuya's house yesterday. The two nominees went to Batangas to beat each other out in a wakeboarding competition. Whoever wins between the Lonely Dreamboy and the Desirable Diva will win a 100-second phone call with a loved one. Be sure to catch Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 tonight right after Lastikman to see who will win in this tough game. But as of now, you may still vote for the celebrity housemate who you want to save from tomorrow's eviction. You may vote by texting in BB 3 for Riza, BB 5 for Victor, or BB 7 for Baron to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun Cellular, and Bayan Wireless subscribers and 231 for Smart and Talk N Text subscribers.

Akon meets the housemates!

November 30, 2007 12:59 PM

07-1130akonwatch.jpgIn the middle of a boring morning, the housemates were surprised when Kuya played Akon's "Smack That!" music video on the monitor. Everyone gathered in the living room to watch the video, and to their shock, Akon greeted them from the confession room! The housemates screamed and jumped up and down the floor upon being starstruck by the famous music artist. They tried to greet Akon over the monitor, but at first, they were unsure if he could hear them. The, Big Brother announced that the winning team of yesterday's charade game will have the chance to meet Akon face to face!

Mariel, Gladys, Donnie, Jon, and Victor screamed as they rushed to the confession room. 07-1130akontakbo.jpgThere, they shook hands with the RnB artist while big bodyguards were around standing with watchful eyes. Akon asked why the housemates were not in his concert yesterday, but Mariel and Jon said that as housemates, they are not allowed to go out or have any contact with the outside world. Mariel asked Akon for a song, but it seemed that the artist was still exhausted from the concert. Meanwhile, Yayo, Riza, Gaby, Will, and Baron could only watch with envy over the monitor. Baron even complained how come Kuya placed them in such a poor predicament. After the short encounter of the winning team with Akon went by, they came out of the confession room like nuts! But of course, Kuya wanted to be fair will all the housemates, so he gave the second team a 10-second encounter with Akon in the confession room.

07-1130akondance.jpgYayo and the rest went berserk like regular fans. They shook Akon's hands and expressed how they appreciate his music very much. All of them wanted to take Akon's autograph and have a picture with him, but unfortunately, the RnB artist was on tight schedule for today. After the encounter, Big Brother thanked Akon for taking some time in performing in the country and meeting the celebrity housemates. On the other hand, Akon thanked all his Filipino fans for being a great audience to his concert and expressed his desire of coming back for yet another performance. Akon then bid the housemates goodbye, and from then on, the Akon fever ruled the house and sent the housemates into a dancing mood to the tune of "Smack That!"

Be sure to get the sneal peek on this remarkable PBB event later in Uber at 5:30 PM. But for the full story on Akon's visit inside the famous yellow house, watch Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 on Primetime Bida right after Lastikman.

An Uber Fun Day For All

November 30, 2007 11:17 PM

PBBCE2_victor1130.jpgYesterday, it was Victor and Riza’s turn to shine as they were both hand-picked by Big Brother to embark on a weight-boarding challenge at Lago de Oro resort in Calatagan, Batangas. The two were off to their destination even before the sun was up, leaving the housemates unsuspecting as to their latest endeavor As soon as they arrived, their trainor Beyan Modrigo prepared them for the sport by letting them ride the boards on their knees, all the while being dragged around the beach. Only after they mastered that were they able to try it in a standing position. Victor however managed to execute it perfectly on the first shot! Hence, he was rewarded a phone call with his baby brother JM Basa for winning this task.

Back on the big yellow house, Jon and Mariel were having their kilig moments on the sofa. Opting to sleep, the lovebirds shared the comforters that Riza and Victor left. Big Brother intervened however, claiming that using those was tantamount to moving his property without his permission – which is not allowed in his rule book.PBBCE2_jonNma1128.jpg Later, the English Outcast was called in the confession room again, where he became privy regarding Mariel’s impending ‘eviction’ tomorrow! He can’t tell her this though or else, he would face an automatic nomination. With that breaking news in mind, he used the remaining time to spend quality time with his bestfriend in the PBB world. Unknown to him, Baron was also given this information. The only difference is that the Wild Child can’t be as sweet as Jon can be towards Mariel.

Meanwhile, all their worries in effect of the Makati standoff were set aside as they played an informative game in connection with the World AIDS Day friendly reminder to practice safe sex through abstinence, loyalty to a partner and the use of protection. Anyway, Team A boasted of Baron, Gaby, Ruben, Riza and Will while Team B comprised Donnie, Jon, Mariel, Victor and Yayo with Gladys as host. Each member of the group simply had to move fast in answering the questions which were divided into three categories: general, personal and naughty. As such, the housemates’ wildest acts were revealed to everyone. Baron for instance had his first sexual encounter PBBCE2_safesex1130.jpgwhen he was only 12 years old. On the other hand, Jon did it at the park at the age of 15 while Riza was busted about educating herself through a Kamasutra book for her to be ready when the right time comes. Team A won with 5 points, leaving their opponents on the losing end with only 2 points.

No doubt about it, the celebrity housemates are definitely keeping us all entertained with their escapades. However, three of them are in danger of being evicted tomorrow! Who among the Wild Child, the Lonely Dreamboy and the Desirable Diva deserve an extended stint? If you want to save your bets, just key in BB 3 for Riza, BB 5 for Victor and BB 7 for Baron then send it to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun Cellular and Bayan Wireless subscribers and 231 for Smart and Talk N Text subscribers.

Big Brother breaks the ice for Gladys

November 28, 2007 10:56 PM

PBBCE2_gladysdiscovered1128.jpgOn her first night inside the big yellow house, Gladys felt surreal as she took in her new home -- not only as a housemate but as a Kapamilya to boot! Mariel understood her initial shyness, remembering how the housemates have already bonded for three days when she first joined the gang. Hence, Mariel tried her best to make her feel welcome by sharing bits of advices that will make her stay easier.

But of course some of the housemates will feel threatened particularly now that the stakes were doubled for those who are vying for the Big Four slate. Baron was the most outspoken of them all regarding this matter. For him, fairness is not really an issue. It's just that his game plan was already set when he received a second chance as a housemate. And now his chances of winning are getting slimmer with
PBBCE2_game1128.jpg more contenders eyeing the big win, he confided to Mariel.

However, he easily got over his negative musings with the help of his ultimate crush's extra boost of support. Mariel even explained that if Gladys makes it to the 'top', she will only get half of the prize since her stint is shorter compared to the original set of housemates. With that, the Wild Child put up a welcoming front towards Gladys and grabbed the opportunity to know more about her instead. In their interesting conversation, the Queen of Laughter shared that Boy Abunda discovered her on a small sing-along bar back in the 90's. Unfortunately, her group known as 'The Boxers', didn't immediately hit it off since OPM bands were the craze at that time.

Much later however, Big Brother asked them to play a game where everyone would learn a thing or two about theirPBBCE2_baileys_1128.jpg newest housemate. First, Gladys would have to share some clues about herself, which all fit a certain category that each housemate had to guess. The one who answered correctly was rewarded with a glass of Gladys’ favorite alcoholic drink! The whole thing was definitely an entertaining highlight of their day since they seldom down liquor in the house.

At least, that was a nice ice-breaker for Gladys to shed her awkwardness for being a newbie. Will she able to form lasting friendships with her housemates? More importantly, how will they assess her in the coming days? Find out the whole story of her arrival on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 at Primetime Bida. Also, catch their latest adventures on your daily afternoon habit only at PBB Uber.

Gladys Guevarra is Kuya's new celebrity housemate

November 28, 2007 7:10 PM

PinoyBigBrother

After tirelessly singing with a band in several sing-along bars, Gladys successfully crossed over to TV and showcased her talent both in singing and stand-up comedy. For her perseverance and determination, this funnygirl was able to provide for her beloved family. But with great success came big controversies, and she had no other choice but to leave the country to take a breather. And now, a new Gladys is back to shed fun and laughter to all kapamilyas.

PinoyBigBrotherGladys stepped out of the limousine with Bianca and greeted all the Kuyanatics. Upon Toni's request, the comedienne did her hilarious "Mahal" and "Annabelle Rama" impersonations. Gladys said that she is very excited as she begins a new chapter in her life and career, not just as a celebrity housemate but as a Kapamilya. Gladys then headed straight to the confession room where Kuya warmly welcomed her. For her first task, Gladys must judge the other celebrity housemates' performances on the karaoke.

How will the housemates react once they learn that their singing judge will also be their new housemate? Don't miss crucial updates on Glady's stay on PBB Uber and PBB primetime.

Expert coach tunes up the housemates

November 28, 2007 1:42 PM

07-1128basketball1.jpgOur celebrity housemates only have a few days left to practice for the Wheelchair Basketball weekly task. To help the housemates in getting ready for the big ball game, Big Brother brought in Coach Noel to teach the basics and guidelines of wheelchair basketball. The expert trainer then shocked the housemates with the news that by the end of this week, they will have to face the national wheelchair basketball team in a 3-on-3 game.

07-1128coachnoel.jpgAccording to Coach Noel, the same rules of regular basketball also apply in the wheelchair basketball. However, some of the time guidelines were modified to give the players more time in pushing the wheelchairs. Coach Noel emphasized to the housemates that they can only push their chairs twice, and after that, they have to dribble the ball on their sides. Should they push thrice, they will be charged with a traveling violation. It is also important for our housemates to make sure that no part of the lower-half of their body will touch the floor. The final game will be held in the activity area and given the limited space, the housemates will only play in a 3-on-3 halfcourt game. The housemates, however, became concerned of the injuries that they might sustain while playing 07-1128basketball2.jpgthe game. Coach Noel then reminded everyone to be careful in pushing the chairs as their fingers might get caught in the wheels.

All the players then immediately got on the wheelchairs to get the hang of the real game. But after some time of shooting the ball on the ring, most of them began feeling the strain on their upper bodies as their waist and legs remained stationary all throughout the game. Will our celebrity housemates adjust to the game in time to win over their rival national team? Meanwhile, be sure to catch Uber this afternoon at 5:30pm to see who Kuya's newest celebrity housemate will be.

A lesson on compassion

November 28, 2007 1:50 AM
-http://celeb2.pinoybigbrother.com

PBBCE2_mariel1127.jpgMoving around on wheelchairs proved to be a great challenge to the housemates. Right after their dizzying HOH competition this afternoon, Big Brother immediately told them to go back to their ‘handicapped condition’. But his soft heart soon prevailed for he later made them play ‘Bring Me’ to free them from their tedious task for now. As the rule of the game stated, they have to race against each other in bringing what Big Brother wanted near the confession room.

With Buttons on his hands, Jon was the first successful player among them. Baron came next as he triumphantly gave his Fedora hat (a gift from Victor) to Big Brother. Victor got the third lucky slot after he produced a toasted peanut butter sandwich. Then Mariel completed the circle of winners with the help of the English Outcast. This ended her crazy complaints towards thePBBCE2_lineup1127.jpg tiresome wheels.

Much later, some of housemates were caught sleeping so Big Brother decided to stir them up by asking them to dance ‘Boom Tarat Tarat’. Mariel taught them the steps from what she can remember as one of Wowowee’s hosts. But it soon became evident that performing is quite impossible with most of them on their seats. As such, Yayo felt bad that all of them should be punished when it was only her who had dozed off. Gaby was exempted since she’s still suffering from jet lag. As it was, Big Brother even allowed the Racing Godess an early bedtime.

Finally, Big Brother gathered everyone in the living room for a serious talk. He explained how he wanted them to experience being handicapped since this weekly task is being done for a good cause. Apparently, the PBBCE2_admonished1127.jpgwheelchairs that they are using will be given to several beneficiaries. Hence, he reminded them to act with compassion just like what some of them had shown throughout the day, not play with it as if the whole thing is a laughing matter. With that, he permitted them to get up from their wheelchairs.

In the meantime, more surprises are up Big Brother’s sleeves! Will the housemates easily warm up to Big Brother’s latest additions several hours from now? How will they feel about having more competitors in their midst? And when can we expect their internationally-famed guest this week? Don’t dare miss these exciting developments on Uber and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2!

Who's the best shot of them all?

November 27, 2007 11:43 PM
http://celeb2.pinoybigbrother.com

PBBCE2_rubenfires1127.jpgLooking back at Angel Locsin’s visit, she certainly didn’t waste time making her presence felt not only through her involvement in the household chores but also her successful mission to provide Ruben an engagement ring for his partner Jesell.

To make this possible, Big Brother divided the housemates into two groups with Agent Angel of Love (with Ruben, Jon and Donnie) and the Desirable Diva (with Mariel, Victor and Will) as team leaders. Right after their lunch yesterday, they were sent to an action-packed competition far from the big yellow house! In a shooting range, they received a crash course on handling a .45-caliber gun.

After proper orientation, each member was given a chance to fire eight rounds of bullets on their target. Corresponding points are assigned on their shots while a missed one meant an automatic deduction of 5 points from each team’s total score. AmongPBBCE2_obstacle1127.jpg them, it was Ruben who got the highest mark with 36 points followed by Will and Riza with 30 points and then Victor with 28 points.

Angel on the other hand redeemed herself from her disappointing firing performance when she beat Riza during a final showmanship on the obstacle course. Armed with 17 rounds in their gun this time, Angel of Love’s total score of 77 points won over the Desirable Diva’s 55 points. With that, she accomplished her goal to provide the Komedyanteng Promdi with a ring from Big Brother.

Meanwhile, Yayo and Ruben were not able to join this adventure – the price they have to pay for breaking two drinking glasses. As such, the stay-at-home duo was tasked to clean the whole house, cook the housemates’ dinner and finally wash a heavily-tinted car at the activity area. It was there where they found the Racing Godess, fresh from the States!

PBBCE2_baronyayo1127.jpgThough both of them are happy to see her, they later express their grievances towards her arrival. For Baron, he felt that he now has a slimmer chance to make it to the Big Four with Gaby back in the house. On the other hand, Mom in Distress said that it’s unfair since the Racing Godess was in touch with the outside world for a lengthy period already.

To add more spice in their life, Uber host Bianca Gonzales gives us a sneak peek of Big Brother’s two more additions in his abode! Cluing as in is a lady who seems to be impersonating Anabelle Rama’s famous Visayan accent while the other one croons her signature song Cutie Cute Cute. Who can they be? Brace yourselves for their grand entrance tomorrow!

Head of Household title again...

November 27, 2007 7:07 PM

07-1127wheelchairs.jpgIn a wet and fun game of Dizzy Beam Crossing, the objective in today's HOH game is that each HM must strive to walk across the beam on top of the pool after being spun 10x on a rotating platform. They must cross in the shortest amount of time to win. Surprisingly, though, most of the players managed to make it to the other side of the beam inspite of their dazed states. Mariel was the only one unable to successfully cross the beam and fall into the pool.

In the second round, the five players who perfectly crossed the beam in the fastest time was Will, Riza, Baron, Ruben, and 07-1127wheelchairs.jpgDonnie. They then had to endure the fast-spinning round platform and cross the beam again. Will was the first one to make an attempt, which he passed with flying colors. Riza, Ruben, and Donnie, however, were unable to finish their round as they all fell into the pool. Baron was the only one left to challenge Will. But in the end, Will was once again hailed as the Head of Household for this week.

Aside from immunity and power of automatic nomination, what other special privileges await Will in his second week reign as HOH? Will BB give him another date with Riza sans 'Baby Poshy'? Keep it locked in here for more developments on this story.

07-1127wheelchairs.jpgMeanwhile, Bianca had the chance to speak to Kuya's newest celebrity housemate set to enter tonight. "Basta cute ako!" were the only words the mystery celeb gave as clues on her identity. Watch Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 tonight to discover who will enter the famous yellow house. Also, catch the action-packed firing activity of our housemates to see if Angel Locsin will be able to defeat Riza so Ruben will have the chance to propose to his wife. All that and more later this evening with Toni Gonzaga right after Lastikman.

HMs Move on wheels

November 27, 2007 4:24 PM

07-1127wheelchairs.jpgAfter the rollercoaster of events in the past week, it's now time for a new weekly task. Our celebrity housemates are in for another challenging ride with the Wheelchair Basketball weekly task. To give our housemates an idea on how playing basketball in a wheelchairl is done, Big Brother provided a video of a paralympic competition. The housemates were stunned at what they saw, hence at first, they decided on betting only 50% of their budget on this task. But Kuya, like always, challenged the housemates in pushing for a 100% bet yet again, given that the housemates still have a lot of supplies left. However, the housemates thought that the 07-1127jonwheelchair.jpgchallenge would be more difficult in the field than in the video, hence, they compromised for a 75% bet.

Next, the housemates studied the guidelines of the wheelchair basketball game. Apparently, there are some special rules and regulations in this game unlike in regular basketball. For this type of basketball, there's a more detailed point system and fouls and violations to take note of. Although most of the boys believe they could play basketball even with their eyes closed, the tough part is dribbling and 07-1127furniturewheelchair.jpgpassing the ball while maneuvering the wheelchair.

After lunch, Big Brother gave the housemates the wheelchairs they will be using for the task. All of them must begin familiarizing themselves on how life is like with their legs rendered useless. Kuya instructed the housemates to move the dining chairs and other furniture in the hallway for a while so they can all move freely inside the house. How will our housemates fair on this weekly task? Watch Uber this afternoon at 5:30pm to get a sneak peek on this task and see how Angel spent her last hours inside the famous yellow house.

Angel of Love's 24-Hour Task

November 27, 2007 12:23 AM
http://celeb2.pinoybigbrother.com

PBBCE2_rubenngel1126.jpgAfter several depressing days, a beautiful angel arrived in style last night, who certainly took the celebrity housemates by surprise. Angel Locsin was in full battle mode when she landed in their midst as a menacing sniper. One by one she tried to beat the guys with her paint-ball gun until she finally revealed her identity to them. Ironically, it was Ruben who caught her first as the others helped her out of her gear. When the housemates’ initial shock soon waned and Angel was adjusting herself to her new home, Big Brother called her for his crucial instructions.

Her mission was to become an Angel of Love whose task was to persuade the Komedyanteng Promdi to propose to his live-in partner of three years on national television. At first, Angel was hesitant to do as she was told since she’s practically new in the group and Ruben may feel offended by her inquiries. But since Big Brother asked her so nicely, she eventually agreed.

Luckily, she easily found an opportunity to have a heart-to-heart talk with Ruben. After hearing his love story, shePBBCE2_oneonone1126.jpg cleverly pointed out that if she’s in Jesell’s place, she’d be expecting a marriage proposal from him by now. She insisted that it would be perfectly romantic if he does it on TV! Desperate by that time, she further sweet-talked him into following her advice. Ruben could only laughingly agree to her odd pleas, unsuspecting towards her connivance with Big Brother.

But this was not her only contribution throughout her 24-hour stint as Kuya’s houseguest. Angel accompanied the housemates in another exciting adventure this afternoon, obsessively kept the kitchen spic and span and accepted all sorts of challenges even those beyond her call of duty. All these soon ended though as she bade them goodbye on the show’s live stretch tonight. As expected, not only the housemates but even the whole world felt sad to see her step out of the big yellow house.

Big Brother thanked her for being a part of his famous abode even for such a short while. As it is, she had shared much of her admirable qualities, which he truly appreciated. Soon after that, PBB Host Toni Gonzaga welcomed PBBCE2_bbtnx1126.jpgAngel back to the outside world, teasingly noting that she had made it in one piece. Seriously however, the pretty young actress recounted how unforgettable her experience would be, seeing now the vast difference between simply watching them on TV and mingling with them in real life.

Who’s next to step foot on the most famous house in the land? Be sure to catch the international RNB artist who’s coming one of these days! Toast to Friendship

November 26, 2007 9:43 PM
http://celeb2.pinoybigbrother.com

PBBCE2_dinner1126.jpgAfter a day’s work, what better way to spend the night ahead than a happy reunion with a beloved housemate with matching home-made sinigang for dinner? They couldn’t contain their stories to tell as everyone catches up with Gaby, who’s equally excited to fill them in on all her adventures abroad and the whirlwind events that await her as soon as she touched ground here in the country.

But more than this, a very special gathering was prepared just for them! In the midst of their chatter, Big Brother suddenly detained them in their respective bedrooms where Mariel continued her animated review of all the games they’ve had including Jon’s mishap with his balls. BB’s spy was at her best element now that there are more people in the house, not to mention her favorite buddy Gaby.

What made the housemates all-keyed up however was when Big Brother told them to dress up as soon as possible for a fine-dining experience! Of course this leaves everyone surprised since there’s no obvious cause forPBBCE2_angelwill1126.jpg celebration. As it is, their elegant dinner table was set for the occasion with waiters to serve them their meals. Mariel mused that she has a ‘praning theory’ for this treat but she’d better wait for Kuya to explain himself.

To Angel and Mariel, the housemates teased that maybe this is his way of saying that they are his newest residents! The sexy tough chic could only hope that it’s not the case. But whatever it is, they simply decided to enjoy the sumptuous food as long as it lasted. All their speculations, fueled by what they can remember from the Pinoy Big Balita, took a backseat for now. But how will they feel once their predictions turn into reality? Stay tuned to more of Big Brothers’ guests and surprises this week!

Welcome Back Gaby!

November 26, 2007 7:06 PM
http://celeb2.pinoybigbrother.com

PinoyBigBrother"I got kidnapped!" Gaby first told the two housemates as they got in the house. Gaby returned from her seminar in the US just this afternoon and the PBB staff surprised Gaby right at the airport and offered her a chance to return to the Big Brother house and continue being a celebrity housemate. Being used to stepping up to any challenge, the renowned car racer agreed to come back. From there, she was immediately driven straight to the PBB house.

PinoyBigBrotherGaby is indeed overwhelmed with joy and she instantly began catching up with Baron and Yayo. Baron told Gaby that all the housemates were currently out, and from there, the Racing Goddess was updated about everything that has happened in Kuya's house while she was gone, from Ethel and Mcoy's exit to Angel Locsin's arrival.

Speaking of Angel, she and the other housemates just arrived home after a long day of hard work "somewhere". What was this trip all about? Be sure to catch Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 tonight to see the full story on Angel's action-filled entrance with a paintball gun. Also, how will the other housemates react once they see Gaby, and how will the Racing Goddess relate to an equally pretty, sexy, and tough chick like Angel?

Kuya welcomes Angel Locsin

November 26, 2007 4:35 PM

Angel received a warm welcome from the celebrity housemates last night. Trying to adjust to the new environment, Angel found herself being rattled everytime she would hear Big Brother's deep voice. Mommy Yayo offered the new houseguest some food from the fridge which fortunately is full because of their successful weekly task. Apparently, Yayo and Angel have already worked together in a show in the other network. But before fully getting the hang of being a houseguest, Angel decided to take a shower first. Mariel escorted her to the special shower room where Angel took her warm bath. Then later, Donnie and Ruben chatted with the new beauty of the house and the Komedyanteng Promdi immediately won Angel with his antics. Ruben ended up talking about his family, and Angel expressed his admiration over Ruben's sacrifice, being away from his wife and kids. Ruben further impressed the young lady with the special camote cue he prepared. But of course, the welcome would not be complete without Angel joining the housemates in their Rico Mambo dance.

The pretty houseguest later on had a good night sleep, feeling very at home with the accommodating celebrity housemates. However, no hanky panky for Angel for Kuya wants her to begin her task as soon as possible. Angel and the other housemates then got into their camouflage outfits and went straight to the activity area. What does Big Brother really want Angel to do during her stay inside the house? Be sure to keep it here for more fun with Angel and the housemates. Also, catch Uber this afternoon at 5:30 PM for a peek at Angel's entrance last night.

5th Nomination Night...

November 25, 2007 11:57 PM

More changes are set to happen inside the big yellow house this week! Aside from tonight’s new set of nominees, the housemates will be seeing a new houseguest, former housemates and also new ones.

First housemate on the line for the 5th nomination night is Baron, who just recently was instated back inside the house by the public after a trial by Big Brother. Now that he has gained separate HM status from his brother Donnie, he’s placed again in the danger zone for the others felt he has already learned a lot from his stay in Big Brother’s abode. He also got on some of the housemates’ nerves for being a bit too clumsy. Do the housemates think one Geisler inside the house is enough?
Riza was next and the Desirable Diva could not hide the disappointment in her face. The other celebs feel that she’s too vain and that she already has a career outside waiting for her. For Riza, who’s living alone in Manila, the house has become her home in the country. Will she be leaving her new found family so soon?
Victor, on the other hand, was placed on the nomination block by current head of household Will Devaughn. Because of last week’s mock nomination, Will still had the power to automatically nominate a housemate. He chose Victor because he felt that his fellow model really wanted to leave the house.
To vote for the housemate who you think deserves to stay, just text BB 3 for Riza, BB 5 for Victor, BB 7 for Baron and send it to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun Cellular and Bayan Wireless subscribers and 231 for Smart and Talk N Text subscribers. You can also use PBB vote cards or vote online here.
The excitement of the night does not end there however for Kuya has just introduced a new houseguest, thinking his housemates are feeling a bit lonely. Actress Angel Locsin awed the HMs upon her entrance. She is currently being oriented by Mommy Yayo, Donnie and Ruben about their daily routines. Angel is already feeling at home for she has just attacked with soap and water some plates and glasses in the kitchen sink. She shares that in her own home, she can’t resist washing anything left in the sink. Will she fill the void Ethel and Mcoy left with their sudden exit?

More changes are set to happen inside the big yellow house this week! Aside from tonight’s new set of nominees and celebrity house guest, the housemates will be seeing former housemates and also new ones. It’s another roller coaster week on PBB so don’t miss these events on Uber at 5:30pm and PBB Primetime, weeknights after Lastikman.

Not home for Christmas...

November 25, 2007 2:16 PM

Spending the entire holiday season without their loved ones proved to be terrible news for the celebrity housemates. The unexpectedness of which coupled by the plans they have surely made for Christmas certainly hit them hard. After all, most people really look forward to the Yuletide season. As such, staying this long may be the biggest challenge that they are going to face, even with the enormous incentives at the end of their journey.
In truth, Yayo claimed that she half-expected this already ever since their newscasting stint for the Pinoy Big Balita. Though of course, its impact last night was distressing all the same. Up to this morning, Victor still feels downcast about it. Perhaps he was thinking of his intention beforehand to attend the misa de gallo for the first time, among other things. Seeing how he is at the moment, Mariel asks him what she can do to cheer him up, only to be distracted by Baron’s funny plea to lighten his mood instead.

It seems that the Wild Child is the least worried of them all as he goes on teasing Will regarding his chosen candidate for nomination today. As usual, Big Brother is doing the rounds and Baron insists that the True Lover nominated him this time. Will merely laughs it off, knowing too well that talking about such things is prohibited. However, the Pasaway Actor quips that he can just wait for this edition’s DVD copy anyway to see if Will had put him at risk.
As Donnie says, the whole nomination process is truly difficult no matter how many times they have done it in the past. He can only hope that this week wouldn’t be as emotionally-draining as the previous days have been. With the HOH power still in the hands of the True Lover though, who among his housemates will be unlucky enough to receive an automatic nomination? More importantly, will some of them opt to quit because of the shocking extension of their seclusion in the most famous abode in the land? Don’t miss another heart-stopping nomination night on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition later after That's My Doc!

All of these prizes could be yours if ...

November 24, 2007 10:27 PM

It’s an unusual Saturday night for instead of an eviction, it became a short film premiere and challenge night for the HMS. Although they triumphed their recent weekly task minus Mcoy and Ethel, Kuya invited director Maryo J. Delos Reyes to critique "Pamana". Direk Maryo judged the short film based on its structure and content. He had a lot of questions regarding the story for some of the main character’s intentions weren’t clear with him. He praised Donnie, Yayo and Jon for their impressive acting and all in all gave their project a rating of 2.75.
After the TV debut of "Pamana" Mariel was called into the confession room. The Celebrity Houseguest was anticipating her exit and was on the verge of tears while Kuya thanked her for going ‘above and beyond’ her duty as a PBB host. However, Mariel was astounded when the big man of the house suddenly revoked her exit tonight and said that the other HMs crucially need her during these trying times. Torn between being happy and sad, Mariel returned to the other housemates where she will receive another shocker.

Kuya’s special guests of the night, The ASF Dancers, made their way into the living area and displayed to the HMs boxes with cash amounts on them, similar to the ones they use on Wowowee. Mariel had to smile, seeing her colleagues on the noontime show again after a month. Big Brother then announced that he’s doubling the prizes the Big Four will be receiving. The 4th Big Placer will now get P400,000, the 3rd Big Placer P600,000 and the 2nd Big Placer P1.000,000. The Big Winner will now receive a Sony Bravia, a Goodah business franchise package, a condominium unit at Chateau Valenzuela and a whooping P2,000,000!

The housemates could not believe their ears but what took them aback the most was Kuya’s second announcement. The prizes will belong to the housemate who had the guts to stay until January 5, 2008, the date of PBBCE2’s Big Night. He also told them that he has opened the doors of the house and anyone who wants to leave can do so that very moment Everyone was dumbfounded, realizing that Christmas and New Year will be spent inside the house without their families and loved ones. But the housemates are actually tougher than what Kuya thinks, for they all agreed to stay.

The doors of the house are closed once again. And the housemates including Mariel are resigned to their fate. Will they survive the Holidays inside the big yellow house? Find out their reasons for staying on PBB Primetime after That’s My Doc.
